Cultivating Growth. Building Resilience.
Empowering Smallholder Farmers

Ending Extreme Poverty

To increase production for smallholder farmers and better their livelihoods, they don’t need just money. They need a variety of investments including training, improved seeds, machinery, technology, and knowledge.

Our community-tailored programs provide smallholder farmers with innovative and affordable solutions to local challenges. They are inspired to create extra sources of income, and promote sustainable agriculture as a vehicle to reduce extreme poverty in rural communities.

Our Focus

Our three pillars to holistically transform rural communities

Soil Health Improvement experiments in Hoima

Agroecology

We believe in transforming agriculture into a tool for sustainability and resilience. Our programs empower rural smallholder farmers with knowledge and resources to adopt eco-friendly farming practices. From soil health improvement to agroecology, we help communities restore degraded land, improve crop yields, and achieve food security. Through initiatives like seed loans, vegetable farming, and agroforestry, we helping build sustainable livelihoods while nurturing the environment.

Helping smallholder farmers to end extreme poverty

Climate Action

Climate change impacts rural communities the hardest, yet they are the least equipped to respond. Our climate action programs empower smallholder farmers to mitigate and adapt to climate challenges. By promoting tree planting, bamboo growing, and energy-saving stoves, we reduce deforestation and carbon emissions. Our projects engage communities in climate-smart practices, ensuring they become active contributors to a sustainable future. Together, we are building a climate-resilient communities.

Empowering rural Women entrepreneurs through Microloans

Empowerment

We champion gender equality as a cornerstone of sustainable development. Our women empowerment initiatives equip women with skills, resources, and leadership training to thrive. From microloans to sustainable farming, we support women in starting businesses, leading agricultural projects, and contributing to climate adaptation. Recognizing the critical role of land ownership in empowering women, we advocate for women’s rights to access and own land, ensuring they have control over vital resources for their livelihoods.
